You must be 25 or older to book. Bookings are made 24 hours in advance. By booking with Black Truck Transportation Co. you agree to the terms below.

Alcohol and drugs

Illegal drugs are prohibited in Black Truck Transportation Co. vehicles. Alcohol may only be permitted where lawful and where the vehicle, the service and applicable regulations allow it. Customers may not consume alcohol in a manner that creates a safety issue, damages the vehicle or violates applicable law.

Smoking

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all Black Truck Transportation Co. vehicles. A cleaning or damage charge of $150 may be assessed if smoking or vaping causes damage or odor, or requires professional cleaning.

Children and car seats

Parents and guardians are responsible for complying with applicable child-passenger safety requirements. Customers who require a child safety seat should notify Black Truck Transportation Co. before booking so the company can determine whether an appropriate seat or accommodation is available.

Luggage and personal property

Customers are responsible for their personal belongings. Black Truck Transportation Co. is not responsible for items left behind unless required by applicable law. Customers should check the vehicle before exiting.

Lost and found

Items recovered in a company vehicle are retained for a reasonable period. Customers should contact Black Truck Transportation Co. as soon as possible to report a lost item, or we contact you upon realizing it was left. Return shipping or delivery costs may be the customer's responsibility.

Service delays

Black Truck Transportation Co. makes reasonable efforts to arrive on time. Transportation services are subject to traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, mechanical problems, government restrictions, emergencies and other circumstances outside the company's reasonable control.

Safety

The driver has authority to make reasonable decisions concerning the safe operation of the vehicle. Passengers must remain properly seated and follow applicable safety requirements while the vehicle is moving.

Service area

Black Truck Transportation Co. provides transportation within its designated service area. Trips outside the normal service area may not be available at this time.

Rates

Rates may vary based on:

• Vehicle type
• Distance
• Travel time
• Date and time
• Number of passengers
• Waiting time
• Special events
• Airport pick-ups
• Additional stops
• Tolls and parking

The applicable price is communicated to the customer before or during the booking process.

Tolls and parking

Customers may be responsible for applicable tolls, parking fees, airport fees and other charges associated with the trip when those charges are disclosed as part of the reservation.

Privacy

Black Truck Transportation Co. may collect information necessary to process reservations and provide transportation services. Customer information is handled according to the company's privacy policy and applicable law.

Changes to reservations

Contact Black Truck Transportation Co. as soon as possible if you need to change:

• Pickup time
• Pickup location
• Destination
• Passenger count
• Vehicle requirements
• Number of stops

Changes are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.

Right to refuse or terminate service

Black Truck Transportation Co. reserves the right to refuse or terminate transportation when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, vehicle capacity, customer conduct or other legitimate operational reasons, subject to applicable law.

Compliance with law

Black Truck Transportation Co. operates subject to applicable federal, Maryland and Virginia laws and regulations governing passenger transportation, licensing, vehicle safety, insurance and other requirements. Maryland specifically requires for-hire operators to maintain appropriate insurance and comply with applicable vehicle and driver requirements.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Black Truck Transportation Co. is not responsible for losses resulting from circumstances outside the company's reasonable control, including traffic delays, weather, road closures, accidents or government actions.

Gratuity

Gratuity is not included unless specifically stated in the reservation or quote. Customers may provide gratuity at their discretion.

Vehicle damage and cleaning

Customers may be responsible for reasonable costs associated with damage caused by a passenger. This may include:

• Excessive spills
• Vomiting
• Food or beverage damage
• Burns
• Intentional damage
• Damage caused by improper use of the vehicle

A cleaning or damage charge may be assessed based on the actual circumstances.

Vehicle substitution

Black Truck Transportation Co. reserves the right to substitute a comparable vehicle when necessary because of mechanical problems, maintenance, safety concerns, availability or emergency circumstances. The company makes reasonable efforts to provide a comparable vehicle.
